Company Overview
ABLECON was founded on the heritage of decades of proud company culture, equipment, staff, and know-how from B&K, a large group of construction companies operating in Southern Africa. In 2018, Antoni Botes and other Namibian shareholders took over assets from B&K and grew ABLECON into the company it is today. Kai Langmaak joined the company in 2020 as a partner, with the intention of expanding our technical engineering capability in Namibia.
Our valued clients ultimately profit from projects being completed to a high degree of professionalism, on time and within budget. To achieve this, we employ experienced, qualified, and highly motivated leadership and staff with extensive backgrounds in the civil engineering and construction sector.
Our young, dynamic, and enthusiastic team is a collaboration of professionals with a broad background in Southern Africa. Our recipe for success is the perfect mix of commitment and dedication with good leadership to master the greatest of challenges.
In addition, ABLECON furthers the diversity of Namibia with in-depth skills development and transfer of knowledge to the local communities in which all projects are undertaken.

Values
Our company name is formed from the acronym A.B.L.E., which we refer to as our team’s “Passion formula”. This comprises a set of unique characteristics that we believe a team requires to execute construction projects successfully.
A – ACTIVATION OF THE TEAM
A construction project with the shiniest equipment, best offices and biggest signboards is nothing without the contribution of the team. Similarly, an unsynchronised team will pull in different directions, and usually lead to negative outcomes on a site such as quality issues or time delays. It is therefore a critical quality to be able to activate a team with set of singular goals, methods and outcomes to achieve a successful project.
B – BOLD DECISIONMAKING
A good decision on a construction site is great, but a bad decision is not the worst – that dishonour goes to making no decision at all. Indecisiveness is a killer on construction projects, and we strive to provide alternative technical solutions together with the project team. As long as we never run out of making a plan.
L – LEAD TO DELIVER
A dedicated and committed individual will not necessarily be the best person to complete a project, as they tend to measure progress on the amount of input effort. The end goal is to deliver the project within cost, time and quality requirements for the Client, and that singular goal must drive the execution of the project. The delivery at the finish line is all the Client is concerned about, and we strive to achieve this.
E – ENERGY, ENERGY, ENERGY
The nature of the construction sector is high-intensity, ever-changing conditions with tight budgets and deadlines. External circumstances also weigh heavily on a person. All these factors contribute to draining a person on a daily basis, and means that one needs a large pool of energy to tap into when the going gets tough.
