The work involved the demolition and reconstruction of the Acid Plant primary bunded area, due to acid penetration and reaction with the substrate. Most of the work had to be done by hand due to proximity of nearby equipment. The work was completed in a partnership with Industrial Acid Proofing Namibia, who executed the acid-proofing on the concrete.
